Country Preachers Workshop
29th June – 2nd July 2023
Training for preachers in country and remote places
God is building his church, not just in numbers, but in maturity. This happens primarily through regular, prayerful, systematic, and expositional preaching of his Word by teachers who are faithful to its text, clear in their presentation and relevant in their application.
At Presbyterian Inland Mission, we seek to continually bring God’s Word to believers and unbelievers in the remote areas of our country. With the help of this workshop, we hope to see more country preachers equipped with the skills and experience to help us achieve this vision.
This course is very practical in its presentation, catering to both the first-time preacher and those who are seeking to develop their preaching abilities further.
PIM is partnering with Langham Partnership to offer this workshop, to help preachers in remote and rural places develop their preaching skills.
Langham Partnership
Langham Partnership grew out of the work of John Stott, an English minister located at All Souls church in Langham Place, London.
The worldwide church is growing quickly, but in many places, pastors don’t have the proper training to teach God’s Word. In our own country, many of us feel inadequate as preachers and would like to be better equipped to correctly handle the Word of truth.
Langham Partnership workers partner with local leaders to train pastors and lay-preachers in how to preach the Bible through up to four levels of training.

This level 2 workshop for 2023 builds on what was learnt in the level 1 course held in 2022*, with a focus on the New Testament. The workshop is made up of seminars and small groups, known as preaching fellowships, where participants learn how to study a Bible passage, and build a sermon that is faithful, clear and relevant.
*Attendance at the 2022 workshop is not a requirement to participate in 2023.
